FLOW ST8 carefully blends together the best of 8 body & mind  modalities into a single practice. Every modality practiced on it's own has it's weak points and limitations, it's only in the UNITY of modalities that we can cover all aspects of wellness and create a "super" workout system.

HOW IT WORKS 
We run back to back classes that cycle between Flowbiltiy (Recover / Beginner) and Power Hour (Performance) with each day cycling between a Full, Upper & Lower focus. 

​

How many Power VS Flowbility does one do? 
This all depends on your fitness levels. But remember, even the fittest of athletes never train hard every day, so 3 power and 3 flows would be a great ratio for someone quite fit. Someone just starting out would begin with flow only and slowly introduce power!

Every workout has movement preparation incorporated with our 8 principles of FLOWBILITY.

Developing the all round athlete with more ranges and types of movement than any concept on the planet.

We start and end each practice with ancient strategies to calm the mind. "To the mind that is still the whole world surrenders."

4. HACK THE FLOW STATE
Much like we warm up the muscles, we also warm up or hack your physiology and work towards techniques that will allow you to tap into your own flow state.

THE 8 PRINCIPLES OF FLOWBILITY

​

  1. STRENGHTEN 
    Strengthen our weak muscle groups (usually key stabilizer and core) that create imbalances and lack of flexibility in the body.                           

  2. LENGTHEN
    Lengthen our tightened and overly contracted muscles that have developed through injury, posture and trauma over time. 

     

  3. SOFTEN
    We soften tight and hard muscles that have lost their “pliability” and create elasticity in the tendons that have gone hard and stiff.

     

  4.  ACTIVATION / MIND MUSCLE 
    We activate muscles from toe to head that in many cases are inactive.

     

  5. RELEASE
    We work on releasing years of tension built up through our muscles and tendons.

     

  6. RHYTHM & FLOW
    We develop new movement control patterns, helping you to move with control and grace, like a Roger Federer gliding across the court with little impact on the body.

     

  7. MOBILIZE & LUBRICATE
    We lubricate the joints through creating new ranges of motion and improved mobility in all majors joints.

     

  8. NOURISH
    Prevent dietary inflammation that is stopping recovery with Flow Diet principles.

We understand movement alone is not enough for you to reach your greatness! The mind, diet, body & soul must all be aligned and rising together! The significance of this circle is all points are connected, meaning if one lags, all others are effected! We work all 5 elements often through our daily practice, but through backend tools and events each month!

To live in spirit (inspired) requires discovering who we are, what our values, true nature and path are! This is when we light up! To live in our spirit is the greatest spiritual gift you can gift to the whole!
 

DIET
The 5 principles of flow diet are designed to remove stagnation, inflammation and imbalances. Getting you vibrating high, glowing and flowin!

MIND
Our 12 principles of a mind in flow are designed to free your mind of judgement and attachment and to let go of old stories or patterns not serving us!

MOVEMENT
We believe in a holistic approach to movement, balancing the yin and yang principles, creating high performance with longevity.

STATE
Your biological state can be hacked (bio hacked), this is our specialty through all of the senses!
